Jason is responsible for the overall management of the engineering team at the Mircom Group of Companies (MGC). Jason’s primary responsibility areas include new product development, regulatory approval, and customer support for MGC’s portfolio of real-time embedded systems to serve industrial, commercial, multi-tenant residential, educational, and health care markets. Additionally, Jason is involved with business strategy, marketing, and operations for the company.
Jason obtained his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario Canada in 2004. Jason’s early career was with a global IT consulting firm working in the areas of finance, insurance, and utilities management. In 2007 Jason worked as an independent consultant in the government/health care space, and in 2008 he returned to academia to pursue a master’s degree in business administration. Jason obtained his M.B.A from The SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milano, Italy. During his M.B.A studies, Jason was able to specialize in technology management while participating in the international exchange program with The Anderson School of Management at UCLA, in Los Angeles, California. In 2011 Jason obtained his professional engineering designation as a P.Eng in Toronto, Canada.
